We did the Mt Kailash Kora with Himalayan Joy Adventure from 1-15/7/24. It was the most wonderful trip thus far for me! We were a small group of 4 girls from Malaysia who joined a larger Aussie group and we simply loved it! The Himalayan Joy team lead by Cholendra is an amazing team. A group of 11 multitalented boys who ensured we were safe, warm, happy and well fed. We were like 1 family for the entire trip. It’s so important for such a difficult trip. We were blessed with perfect weather and blue skies throughout the trip. We shall cherish every moment for a lifetime. Thank you Himalayan Joy! Would certainly love to return for more Himalayan Adventures with them!

An out of this world experience through Nepal and Tibet
This was my first time visiting Nepal and we had an incredible experience of the Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra with the Himalayan Joy Adventure Team. From the moment we arrived it felt like being amongst dear family and there wasn't a moment where the team let us down. I know I'll be coming back and I definitely know I'll be in touch with Cholendra and his team for any future travels in the region.

Logistically, it was made very easy and communication was very timely from the trip organizer Cholendra. He was very flexible with the timing as we changed our start date a few times due to schedule conflict. Also worth mentioning that I noted that their price changed but they honored the original quote they gave me months ago. Cost wise, when you researched your options, consider that an extremely cheap tour may also mean that your accommodation & food options which are already less than ideal at 17,598 feet (5,364 meters) above sea level will be even worse.
Shout out to my tour guide, Tika who has excellent knowledge of the mountains including the ability to deviate from the original plan to assist his clients (whether it is to minimize running into traffic jam on the way up or just good places to stay/food or water to avoid/handling altitude sickness). Our porter Kumar is very friendly and helpful.
Overall, my wife and I were very pleased with the tour and we do recommend checking them out.

Perfect tour, perfect guide and excellent experience...
This was our second time with Himalayan Joy. We think that it won't be the last. Every journey is full of professionalism, good relationship and experience. Our grat guide and his team's calm and caring nature made the journey relaxing and enjoyable. We can't wait to join them on another adventure!

2nd time with no regret but more joy
This is our 2nd time after 12 years. First time was trek to ABC and this time to EBC. And this time with our 10 years old son. Cholendra hosted us very kindly starting our arrival to Katmandu. Durung our trek he helped us with all our needs. Our guide Tika is a great guy, he is very friendly, calm and helpful. We would not reach to EBC without his experience and knowledge. He knows the mountains, routes and accomodation options very well. We had great time with him and his team. Himalayan Joy and Adventure is my only choixe in Nepal and around.

Bhutan, Tibet, Nepal
I was lucky enough to be given Cholendra's contact through an acquaintance. I contacted Cholendra for a tour of Bhutan and Tibet and also ended up doing Poonhill trek with his company while in Nepal. Cholendra is an exceptional person. We were in contact for a few months before the trip and he organized and took care of everything. He responds right away to any questions and I had a lot. He is trustworthy and kind. We ended up having a lot of fun on the trip. His contacts in Bhutan and Tibet were good and our stays were enjoyable. Tika our guide on the Poonhill trek is truly a kind person and a great guide who will listen to your needs and goes above and beyond. I had the pleasure of meeting Cholendra in person while in Nepal and spending some time with him and he is truly most kind, sincere, and welcoming, the kind of person you trust right away and for good reason. I have nothing but warm memories and most warm feelings of all our guides and drivers. I would recommend Cholendra and his company to anyone!
